Donna ran this incredible project starting last summer! Here is the renovation story, or as Pat MacGillvary said, the rebuild!
So, in the beginning...
It all started in June 2010. At first just tidying, fixing and cleaning. What a difference mowing made! We passed the German Shepherd puppy test, thanks Solo!
Then the professionals arrived. Denise & Myrella painted, Permacrete sealed things up, Buck MacLeans Excavating dug for water & sewer outside, and cut concrete for plumbing inside and a million other things too!
MacGregors sealed up holes, and then made some new ones for windows and doors! Let the light in!
Worse, then better!
Heaps of crusher run and gravel arrived and got spread, Rose, Kate and Phillip did whatever needed doing and Trinity came and insulated-much brighter too! Before the ground freezes!! Lovely fencing, Ron , Jim & Dave.
Plumbing roughed in by John Vance and crew and then cement, cement is very particular and waits for no one. Thanks Phillip and Thor!
In November the lumber arrived and up went the studs with carpenter Leonard McCullough, while Kevin MacIsaac and crew were wiring.
Out went the overhead garage door-yahoo!! and in went the framing,
and more framing, the window to the small dog area, the grooming room , the main room has walls!

In mid January the drywall is all in and Progressive Drywall did such a great job crack filling that we had them do a coat of paint too! Then Donna found some lovely doors on Kijiji!

We packed up the classroom and all the time people are working.
.
Then sister-in-law Sharon came down for the weekend...to paint!!! Oh, did I mention she came from Ottawa??

Friends and Family dropped by to give a hand. You rock our world!
